APPLICATIONS for reception class school places for September 2027 are now being accepted.

Herefordshire Council’s admission process for reception class school places for September 2027 has opened for children who were born between September 1, 2022 and August 31, 2023.

You must still apply for a reception class place, even if you already have a place in the nursery associated with your preferred school. The closing date for all primary school reception class applications is midnight on January 15, 2027.

Late applications could result in a child not being offered a place in a preferred school.

Applications can be made online via Herefordshire Council’s website herefordshire.gov.uk/reception-class-admissions.
