A series of events held throughout the autumn term by the Weston-under-Penyard School Parent, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) have raised over £350. 

The events included the transformation of Headteacher Mr Bird's classroom into a Pizzeria, the annual Pontshill bonfire night and an 'open studio' day organised by the Hannaby's to see jewellery making and woodturning.     

Emma Weyman, Chair of the PTFA Committee said:?"We've a lot of new committee members this year and we're off to a fantastic start. I want to say a huge thank you to them and everyone else that has contributed, helped organise and given support to these events. The money raised helps buy things the school needs to help the children get an even better education."

Coming up next is the Christmas fair at Weston Village Hall on December 5th from 6.30pm – everyone is welcome. 

Santa will be in his grotto alongside various festive stalls and there will be lots of fun activities for all the family.• Youngsters at Weston-under-Penyard Primary School built pizzas at their very own pizzeria.
