All members of Ross Golf Club can look forward to some exciting knock-out finals and the opportunity to honour their 2011 Champions when the Club's Annual Championship Finals Day and Presentation event takes place this forthcoming Saturday September 17th.

Steve Wallbank and Jason Bolton will be aiming to become Men's Club Champion when they do battle in the day's top match over 36 holes and equally 2010 Ladies Champion Helen Palmer will be focused on retaining her title when she takes on Pat Watkins. Ross Juniors Captain Jake Howells and Jacob Wild will contest the top Junior match when they play for the Bob Beavis Cup and for the Seniors, David Whitehead will have the incentive of retaining the Trevor Lane Cup he won in 2010, but first has to overcome Seniors Captain, Doug David. Derek Hale, already the 2011 winner of the Seniors Keene Cup will be aiming to make it a double when he takes on Ralph Gallagher in the Harold Bradley Cup, although Ralph will be similarly motivated having recently won the Howard Porter Cup with Annette Mansie.

The Pairs Finals also have some attractive confrontations in prospect, none more so than when Nigel Edmondson and Barry Robbins compete against Paul Meek and Jon Matthews for the Cinderford Cup and when Dave Ruff and Andy Stephens face Richard Moore and Kevin D'Lonra in the MacLean Trophy.
