A planning application for 32 new homes at Cawdor Gardens in Ross-on-Wye will be decided by Herefordshire Council’s Planning Committee today, on Wednesday, April 10th. The planning application is on the agenda for the meeting starting at 10am.
The planning application, submitted by Ross Almshouse Charity, proposes a residential development of 32 dwellings, of which 13 will be affordable homes, along with an ecological corridor, a separate public open space and access enhancements, together with the partial (almost total) demolition of the former railway bridge.
On Tuesday, April 9th, a visit to the site location was scheduled and was attended by memebers of Herefordshire Council’s planning committee, as well as Councillor Anne Taylor and Councillor Richard Mayo.
Planning officer, Carl Brace, explained the proposals for the site and how the development would look. Questions were asked about many aspects of the land and the planning application, including the site access and the ecological effects. These will be discussed and answered in depth at the planning meeting on Wednesday, April 10th.See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
