Councillor Craig Morgan is delighted that not only has a defibrillator been installed outside Ross-on-Wye Market House, but this is just the first of four pieces of the life saving equipment to be installed around the town.
Alex Walker, from the Oddfellows, has been organising fundraising for the defibrillators. He told the Ross Gazette:?“The Oddfellows provide support to the local community, and it is important to have these defibrillators, we hope one day it will save someone’s life.”
Adam Lockley-Holder installed the defib free of charge, and will continue to do so for the remaining three boxes.
The next defib will be installed at the Larruperz Centre in the next week or so, and the Oddfellows will continue fundraising for the cabinets at John Kyrle High School and Tudorville District Community Centre.
