MADAM, SO the election has now finished and at last we see the true face of the Liberal Democrats. We have all been told never to believe a politician and now we have proof.
The LibDem publicity that came through my door daily asked us to vote for them to keep the Conservatives out of Herefordshire. Now they have sided with them and the leader has even been elected Deputy Prime Minister. How hypocritical.
I am calling all people like me, who voted on that advice, to contact me in view of taking the party to court for mis-representation and deceiving the electorate in the county.
I am taking legal advice from my Union advisors and will be holding a public meeting soon if people feel as ripped off as I do.
I am not a Liberal Democrat myself but have always voted for them here to keep the Tories out as I remember the years under Maggie Thatcher, who gave us poll tax, closure of the mines and manufacturing industry plus scrapping free eyesight tests.
I do hope the Lib Dems do not put any publicity leaflets through my door again.
