HEREFORDSHIRE Advanced Drivers, the local affiliate of the Institute of Advanced Motorists are holding a Driver Refresher Day at the Larruperz Centre in Ross-on-Wye, on Saturday, September 13.

The programme lasts from 9.30am until 3pm and the objective is to help drivers feel safer, more confident and in better control when driving on today's roads by:

The course includes updating knowledge of the rules of the road, demonstrating safer driving techniques and putting them into practice in attendees' own car, accompanied by a friendly, qualified observer.

There is no testing involved during the course, only advice where needed.
