Parents can apply for their child’s reception class (2023) school place from today.

Herefordshire Council’s admission process for reception class school places for September 2023 opens today for children who were born between September 1, 2018 and August 31, 2019.

Applications can be made online.

Parents must still apply for a reception class place, even if they already have a place in the nursery associated with their preferred school.

The closing date for all primary school reception class applications is midnight on January 15, 2023.

Late applications could result in not being offered a place in a preferred school.
