Ross-on-Wye Educational Foundation offers grants to students up to the age of 25 whose homes are within the boundaries of Ross Town Council, which now includes the areas of Greytree and Hildersley as well as Ross itself. Grants are awarded for books, equipment and other necessities required.

Students eligible for this grant include those doing courses at University, Training Colleges and those learning the theory of professional or skilled trades. Students studying music and other arts are also eligible to apply.
