As well as the ususal bottle tomabolas and hook a duck stall, another big attraction at

the Fun Day was the Fire Engine from Ross Fire Station.

Lots of children enjoyed sitting inside the vehicle and trying on the gas mask. However just after the start of the Talent Show the alarm sounded to let the crew know they had to make a speedy departure.

The crew calmly but swiftly cleared the area around the engine, one member dressed in full protective gear and another checked the road was clear. They then left to attend an incident at Foy where an electric cable was arching over the road.
