Staff, parents and the directors of Ross-on-Wye Pre-school Playgroup are thrilled with their recent excellent Ofsted report, which found the preschool to be good in all aspects.

Mrs Joyce Thomas MBE DL, who was responsible for setting up the group in the early 1970s, and is currently a director and trustee, told the Ross Gazette that she is delighted at the results of the Ofsted inspection and that something set up over 40 years ago is still so successful.

She said she was speaking on behalf of the directors, Iris Price and Gwyneth Gill, as well as herself. She said:?“We are delighted with the Ofsted report which is both very pleasing and very encouraging."
