Madam, I am writing to thank the voters of Ross West for the tremendous reception I and my fellow Liberal Democrat candidates received during the election campaign.
It was good to meet so many people on the doorstep and find out from them what they thought the main issues facing Ross were. As the Gazette noted last week, Ross bucked the national trend by returning as many Liberal Democrat councillors this year as in 2007 and I am very grateful for the trust the voters have placed in our hands.
Those of us who were elected are looking forward to working with our Conservative and Independent colleagues over the next four years to implement the Ross Town Plan and do all we can to improve life in our wonderful town.
