Top Gear presenters Paddy McGuiness, Freddie Flintoff, and Chris Harris take part in a Herefordshire vintage rally at How Caple Court, near Ross-on-Wye as part of its celebration of 100 years since the BBC was founded.

The trio were seen trying their hand at the 1920’s Invicta car through the county’s roads and taking on a muddy course at the Herefordshire Trial hosted by the Vintage Sports Car Club.

One of the events involved taking the vintage vehicles up and down some steep hills trying to avoid the vehicles getting stuck in the mud.

The Top Gear presenters were not keeping up with the more veteran rally drivers, but enjoyed their time in the Herefordshire countryside.

Although not in the episode, former Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond was also at the rally, filming for his own programme Richard Hammond’s Workshop’ on Discovery Plus.

The Gazette reported last month on Richard Hammond’s visit to the Bentley Owners’ Club Annual Summer Concours which was held at Cubberley House Estate, to promote his car restoration service The Smallest Cog.

The organisation was showcasing an R Type Bentley which is being restored.
