Oscar Saxelby-Lee, the youngster who was diagnosed with high risk T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in December 2018, is now free from the disease.

Oscar’s family told the Ross Gazette that they "cannot stop crying tears of joy" at the news that the disease is now undetected in Oscar’s body.

They said: "We would love to thank everyone for all their support and kind messages and prayers. "Although Oscar still needs another bone marrow transplant, and he is a long way off full recovery to come home, we are rejoicing at this magical time in our lives. We are the proudest parents right now."
