Ross Junior Football Club have teamed up with the Ross-on-Wye and District Royal British Legion Branch to support the 2021 Poppy Appeal which launches this week.
Over the next two weekends, all the junior and senior teams (25 in total) will be wearing RBL arm bands in recognition of all of those individuals that served and are currently serving in our armed forces, with a variety of events taking place in the area in support of the Poppy Appeal and Armistice Day.
Members and supporters will be in Morrisons in Ross every day until Saturday November 13 should you wish to get your poppies and any additional items. Lots of local businesses also have poppies available, as do the local primary schools.
A spokesperson for the RBL said: "The Legion would like to thank the local community for its continued support. We are always looking for new members to join so if you are interested in the work that the branch does, please email the secretary, Jo Morris: [email protected]"
