Gerald Thornton, who was born in the Forest of Dean over 70 years ago, has seen many changes in local life.

Gerald was one of the first artists to hold an exhibition at Made in Ross and he is now launching a book about his life in the Forest, or at least, the first 20 years. The tales of Forest life are lavishly illustrated with Gerald’s original drawings and prints.
