The British Superbike Championship got underway at Brands Hatch over the Easter weekend. The weather conditions were changeable for Luke's first time out on his new RI Yamaha, so things were a little tricky during practise but Luke did well coming in 7th fastest.
His qualifier session went well and he finished 18th fastest on row 5.
The first race was over 30 laps and Luke finished in 17th position with his fastest lap at 46.831 seconds. The winner, Tommy Hill's fastest lap was 45.901 seconds.
In the second race Luke finished in 12th place and his fastest lap was was 46.846 seconds and he earned four championship points, the race winner, James Ellison's fastest lap was 45.761 seconds.
Luke currently lies 17th in the championship table.

The next round of the championships is at Thruxton in Wiltshire on April 16th, 17th and 18th.
