THIS summer’s annual series of free outdoor concerts continues at the Ross-on-Wye Bandstand.

Located at the bandstand on Sunday afternoons, the event, promoted by Ross Town Council, features an array of musicians between 2.30pm and 4pm.

Last week the Forest of Dean Brass performed to a large appreciative audience in the sun, with people taking their own picnics to the green on Wye Street.

Future performances include the Jazz Friday Big Band, on Sunday August 17, Silurian on August 24, the Love to Sing Choir on August 31 and the season concludes with the AW (Drybrook) Band on September 7.

The bandstand will also be the centrepiece for the forthcoming Teddy Bear Picnic on Wednesday, August 27 from 11am.
