Several groups and organisations in the Ross-on-Wye area organised coffee mornings recently, to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Audrey’s Fish Bar in Tudorville raised £839.95 at their annual Coffee Morning.

The residents of Wallace Court held a tea and cake afternoon to raise funds. With the generous donations and the many raffle prizes, a total of £212.50 was collected.

Some of the local primary schools also organised bake sales in their school halls. Class 5 at Garway Primary School arranged the coffee morning at the school. They raised £246.

At Goodrich Primary School, Parents, Angela Crofts and Amanda Middleton arranged the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday, September 30th. Parents, grandparents and friends gathered in the school hall to enjoy homemade cakes. The pupils also dressed in non-uniform and each made a donation. The event raised £432.35 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
