The funeral for former Ross-on-Wye teacher, Sue Vinall, has been arranged.

The funeral will take place at St Mary’s Parish Church, Ross-on-Wye on Thursday 13th July at 11.15am. The family said "Sue wanted this to be a celebration of her life - wear a splash of colour".

The Ross Gazette has received many wonderful messages and comments about Sue, with many former pupils paying tribute to the popular teacher, who was Head of History at John Kyrle High School until she retired in 2012. A large number of these tributes are included in this week’s paper (5th July).

Sue leaves a husband, Brent, who was a deputy headteacher at JKHS, and two children, Stephanie and Jamie, who were also pupils at the school.
