Tickets will be on sale at the Market House on 2nd April for RossBeerfest, which is being held over the early May Bank Holiday weekend.
The third annual Beer and Cider Festival is being held in Ross alongside the River Wye and showcases locally produced beers and ciders. This highly successful event is being organised as a Charity Fund Raiser by Ross Lions and Ross Rotary Clubs.
It opens on Saturday, April 30th from 12 to 11pm and continues on Sunday, May 1st from 12 to 10pm. Tickets for a day are £5 each, which not only provides entry but also a free beer glass, festival guide and a full programme of music with live bands playing on both days.
On Saturday, April 30th local singer, songwriter and versatile musician Duncan Mccorkindale will provide the entertainment from 5:30pm to 7pm followed by Red River Blues, an exciting, dynamic, innovative five piece band fusing jazz, rock, funk, soul and blues, who will perform from 8:00 to 11:00pm.
On Sunday, May 1st Junk Yard Angles, a great three piece blues band will ripping up the floorboards from 4:00 to 6:00pm and Crockers Ash Scratch Band will keep the party going with raw, rough edged, funky foot-stomping rhythms from 7pm to 10pm.
So why not enjoy the May Bank Holiday weekend sampling some excellent local brews, having a bite to eat and listening to some great live music whilst supporting the local community through a well organised charity fund raising activity.
Also on sale will be Rossbeerfest Grand Raffle Tickets which, for only £1 a ticket, could, amongst the prizes, win you a BMW for a weekend courtesy of Cotswold Hereford BMW or a Helicopter Flight for two over Ross or a Cream tea at Pots and Pieces.
