A HUGE sculpture twice as tall as Gatesheads iconic Angel of the North could soon welcome drivers to Herefordshire, if an ambitious plan by an illustrious local artist goes ahead.
Walenty Pytel, of Bromsash, whose elaborate sculptures in steel and bronze have been commisioned by royalty, public bodies and businesses all over the world, has produced a design for three 40-metre birds that would stand on a special site beside the M50, and serve as a gateway greeting to drivers entering the county.
