The Village of Linton Trust (VoLT) held their fourth annual summer get-together at The Alma Inn, Linton, on Sunday, August 19th, with the theme VoLT Goes Global.

Food from around the world was served to almost 50 guests. The dishes included an Indian selection, Chinese spring rolls and money bags, a Scandinavian style beetroot and vodka gravadlax, as well as Brazilian skewers and pitta bread.

Desserts served had a Caribbean flavour with coconut and lime cake, as well as key lime pie from the USA and Australian Lamingtons.

All who attended enjoyed the food and the sunny weather to the sound of global music.
