The Friends of Ross Hospital held their annual garden fete last Saturday, June 2nd, in glorious weather - with a fantastic attendance.

The Chairman, Mrs Jill Davies, was delighted to introduce Mr Quentin Letts who gave an amusing speech about the quintessential English Fete compared to other similar events around the world, before he declared the fete officially open.

He was then presented with a buttonhole by the new Carnival Prince, Ben, and Mrs Letts was presented with a bouquet by the new Carnival Princess, Romerleigh.

The Chairman would like to thank everyone for attending, all the helpers on the day, Ross Town Band for a wonderful afternoon’s entertainment, Mr Steve Turner for playing his lovely Barrel Organ and Mr Ray Hill for providing the sound system.
