A man from Gloucester appeared in Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday, April 20th, accused of causing death by dangerous driving.
Shahram Ali (28) of St Mark Street, Gloucester entered a plea of not guilty at the hearing. A further hearing is set to take place on August 8th, and a provisional trial date has been set for February 6th 2017.
Ali is accused of causing the death of Ian Thomas Wemyss, a man from Phocle Green near Ross-on-Wye, who died in November last year following a traffic collision; the crash took place on November 6th on the A49 and Ian died in hospital three days later.
