Ross-in-Bloom is celebrating a glorious Gold award for the town, following the visit by Heart of England in Bloom judges in July.

The judges left with an excellent impression, not just for the work of the volunteers in Ross-in-Bloom, but also the townspeople as a whole.

Over 120 members of the Association of Ross Traders supplied hanging baskets this year on their premises, provided by Ross Garden Store and watered regularly by EnviroAbility. In their remarks the judges remarked on the quality of all the baskets around the town, as well as the new planters on the Morrisons Roundabout (again planted by Ross Garden Store) and the quality of the bedding in the public park areas. They were also very impressed with the project work in Pigs Alley, which again had been done by various volunteers across the town.
