A local family has an extra reason to celebrate this Christmas as they have been reunited with their much loved pet lurcher, Lola. They had feared that Lola had became the latest victim of dog nappers in the Ross area but she had been picked up by a worried passer by who had seen her in the road.
Lola's owners, Denise and Ray Gwilliam, knew that their black lurcher was in the garden at their Harewood End home before she disappeared. At 1.30pm on Wednesday, December 11th a silver estate car was seen pulling up on to the drive and rapidly sped off again.
Her owners were convinced that she had been stolen and were devastated at the loss of their gentle pet. Their main concern was that she was being mistreated somewhere, or had been dumped.
