Ross Rockets Under 10s had their best result of the season so far when they played Lads Club Belles away and won 4 - 1. This was first defeat that the Belles had suffered.

The first half was very tight with both sides having chances. Up front Hannah Callen and Holly Thomas formed a strong partnership, producing sequences of one-two's to set up scoring chances. It was one of these sequences that produced the first goal for Holly.

The Belles then attacked with more commitment, but strong defending by Bridie Jones and Ellie Cook caused most of their attacks to break down. The few times they managed shots on target, Phillipa Fraser in goal ensured there was no chance of them scoring. The vital link between attack and defence was organised by Elenna Kewin and Alecia Foxwell who both produced some lovely passes to keep the game flowing.

In the second half Alecia was in goal, and Phillipa took her place in midfield. Holly and Hannah came close to scoring, but it was Holly who scored again. Then ten minutes later she completed her hat-trick. The Belles kept attacking to try to get back in the game and eventually scored a goal. With time running out Hannah went on a solo run beating several players before scoring the fourth. The 'Player of the match' award went to Ellie Cook.
