As part of the National Keep Britain Tidy’s Campaign - The Great British Spring Clean, members of the Village of Linton Trust (VoLT) organised a litter pick around Linton and the surrounding area, on Saturday, March 11th.

More than 20 bags of rubbish were collected which included an abandoned road sign.

Also found was the purse of a lady from Bromsash which was stolen in Ross-on-Wye in October and discarded in a Linton hedge. VoLT secretary, Mr John Arrowsmith was very pleased to re-unite the lady with her property from which cash had been taken, but which still contained her cards.

The team is very grateful to all of those people who gave up their Saturday morning to help collect the litter and to dispose of it properly.
