THE Great Trewen Milk Shed has arrived in Ross-On-Wye and with it comesfresh whole milk, milkshakes, and a range of amazing local produce.

The Amos Family behind Great Trewen Milk Shed with outlets in Symonds Yat and Llangrove have expanded into the town centre and now have a shed at the Prince of Wales pub.

The milk shed is a self-service vending machine that provides fresh, gently pasteurised whole milk. It is open seven days a week. On Monday through to Fridays its operational between 7am - 8pm while on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays is opens between 8am - 7pm

Milk is available by the litre (£1.30) or 500ml (£0.65), reusable 1 litre glass bottles are also available to purchase at £2.60. The machines accept contactless card.

Local eggs are also available through the vending machine along with Netherend Farm Butter, Moorcourt Press fresh fruit juice and Two Farmers Crisps.

The Amos Family said that the farm is the heart of the family and what started as a dairy farm diversified just around the time covid hit, when they began supplying fresh whole milk to the community through a vending machine.

Over the years, the family have proudly grown with the inclusion of the new facility at the Prince of Wales, to three self-service milk vending machines, along with a local produce vending machine.

The original Great Trewen Milk Shed in Llangrove has now been running for six years, with the Symonds Yat shed becoming operation last year.

A spokesperson for the Amos Family said: “None of this would have been possible without the community’s incredible support.

“As a small family farm in a little village, we never imagined we would see our farm name on bottles all around the county.

“From all of us at Great Trewen Milk Shed, thank you for supporting local farming and choosing our farm-fresh products.”
