A new defibrillator has been installed on the wall at the Garway Moon Inn so that anyone in need of urgent help can access it.
Anyone will be able to use it in an emergency to deliver a dose of electric current to the heart if someone has stopped breathing. If you telephone 999 for an ambulance you will be asked for the code on the front of the box. They will then give the caller the access code and talk you through how to use it.
A course is being planned for Garway for anyone who wants more information on how to use the equipment.
