Smokey, the cat which belongs to Charlotte, general manager of the Ross Gazette, is just one of the pets successfully treated with therapeutic laser therapy at Chaseview Vet Clinic over the past year.
They have treated hundreds of dogs and cats for chronic painful conditions like osteoarthritis and back pain. The laser treatment is painless and drug free, and the animals find it very soothing and relaxing. This means it is not only great for them, but also for their owners, and for the team at Chaseview to see.
Smokey is continuing to have treatment and is doing very well, but there is now a new addition to the range of innovative treatments on offer.
This area of medicine is classed as regenerative medicine and Chaseview is delighted that they now offer Platelet Rich Plasma and Stem Cell Therapy. These therapies are becoming more well-known as they have been used to successfully treat injuries in famous sport stars such as Rafael Nadal and Christiano Ronaldo.
