Hospital bosses are calling on residents to scrutinise their performance by attending its public meetings across Herefordshire.

Wye Valley NHS Trust’s board will be touring the county each month and hosting its meetings at Hereford and the market towns.

The first stop will be at Leominster Community Hospital at 1pm on July 6th and future venues will include the Larruperz Centre in Ross-on-Wye.

Russell Hardy, Wye Valley NHS Trust chairman, said: “We want to encourage members of the public to come along and find out about the Trust’s performance and progress, so we are visiting market towns across Herefordshire to make it easier for people to attend.

“These are exciting times for the trust with lots of challenges and this is a great opportunity for people to see behind the scenes and understand what we are doing to meet the ever growing demand on our services.

“It also provides an opportunity for members of the public to meet the board of directors and ask questions about items relating to the meeting agenda.”

If you would like to attend the next meeting, email [email protected] or call on 01432 364000, or attend on the day. To find out more visit www.wyevalley.nhs.uk.
