Alton Street Surgery, in Ross-on-Wye, is always looking for innovative ways to support and help their patients. Following the launch of their Self Care Station, the chair of the Patient Participation Group, Diane Lancaster arranged for Herefordshire Heartstart to run one of their very informative courses at the surgery.

The demand was high and the course was soon oversubscribed and resulted in a enjoyable and successful evening. Feedback included comments such as, ‘wow, what a lot of important and useful information,’ and ‘fun and so important to be able to know how to tackle a crisis’.

As a result of the positive comments the surgery intends to arrange another course and if you would like to participate in one of the free courses please ring the practice manager, David Rossiter, to be placed on the waiting list for one of the courses.
