MADAM, Further to your front page headline of October 1st, 2008 'Overtaking could cost soldier's job.' I am currently carrying out accident research on that particular stretch of road, the B4221, between Kilcot Garage and Gorsley Church, with special reference to the hill and the 'hidden dip' by Brassfields Farm.

Could I please ask any of your readers who have been involved, or know of someone who has been involved in an accident or near miss at this spot to contact me by letter or phone.

This research is do to do with the number of incidences occurring and is nothing to do with apportioning blame. If readers prefer to remain anonymous their responses are still very important.
