A GROUP of regular ramblers have got together with representatives of local hospitality businesses and the Herefordshire Tourist Office to turn Ross into a 'Walkers are Welcome'town and they want as many people as possible to sign their petition in support Walking is already one of the most popular outdoor activities and in the current economic climate it is likely that more people will take their holidays in Britain. Gaining 'Walkers are Welcome' status will help Ross to persuade more of them to visit our beautiful corner of the country. Becoming a 'Walkers are Welcome' town will show that Ross is a community that has something special to offer walkers.
