Herefordshire Council has launched a consultation about plans for residential pitches and temporary stopping places for Travellers and Travelling Showpeople.

Feedback from the six week consultation will contribute towards the Travellers’ Sites development plan, part of Herefordshire Council’s Local Plan, which outlines the strategic planning framework for the county’s future development needs (such as housing and infrastructure) up to 2031.

The proposed allocations are as follows; Temporary Stopping Places at Leominster, Romany Way Grafton, Watery Lane, Lower Bullingham, Openfields, Bromyard and Turnpike, Pembridge.

There will be a public drop-in session at Leominster Library on Thursday, November 23rd, 3.30-6.30pm for anyone who has questions about the Travellers’ Sites development plan or the consultation. The consultation runs until midnight on Monday, December 18th, 2017.
