Plans for an industrial estate in Ross to rival Rotherwas in Hereford, have been on the cards for a long time, but at the planning committee meeting on Wednesday, December 10th they took a step nearer to realisation.
Local Councillor Phil Cutter was delighted to see the application by Bristol-based company Arup receive unanimous support.
Model Farm, which is just off the A40 at Hildersley, has long been allocated for employment use within the Herefordshire UDP.
The site is currently designated as agricultural land and an objection from Ross Rural Parish Council, that development should not take place on green farming land, was noted.
