FORMER staff at The Chestnuts Home for the Elderly had their hopes of receiving the full redundancy entitlement from their employers dashed last week. Herefordshire Council had agreed to waive the money it was owed to ensure staff would receive everything they were entitled to rather than having to apply to the Government for their statutory entitlement.
