Last week saw the online release of a new song written and performed by the young people at local charity, Hope Support Services.

In April, coached by nationally recognised 'The Voice' finalist Vince Freeman, and experts Chris Knight and Malaki Patterson from CCP Studio 340, Hope's Gloucestershire and Herefordshire young people came together to record their own song.

The teams met together to share ideas and put the song together. Hope's young people were able to put into lyrics the feelings and experiences they have all been through when a close family member has a life-threatening illness with powerful results.

Sue Trevethan, Hope's founder and CEO, said: "We're so excited to be able to release this amazing song. The young people should be hugely proud, everyone got involved, drumming, playing guitar, singing, rapping or working on post-production behind-the-scenes. We're really grateful to Vince, Chris, Malaki and their teams. We couldn't have done this without their support."

Hope have released the track - 'We Are Hope' – which you can download, order on CD or order on DVD, complete with the official music video. Go to http://www.hopesupport.org.uk/we-are-hope">www.hopesupport.org.uk/we-are-hope for more information.
