Recently the Lions received a letter asking if they could help Hope Support Services to buy some new T-shirts.

Club members were keen to know more, and found out that this worthwhile local charity would really benefit from having a new outfit to wear (and lend) when out and about. So the Lions, from their funds raised at community events, agreed to buy a supply and passed on the necessary cheque to cover the costs at a recent visit to the Hope HQ.

Writing about the shirts, Lorna from Hope Support Services said: “Having the support of the Ross Lions is fantastic; we are really trying to encourage people in our community to help fundraise for us and being able to lend them a branded Hope t-shirt will hopefully show that we’re behind them. We rely on community events to help us continue supporting young people when a family member has a life threatening illness and we want people to remember that we are here if they find themselves in the situation where someone they know needs our service.”
