My favourite animal is a hedgehog because they are so adorable. Last February I wrote to the British Hedgehog Society to find out more about them.

I would like to talk to you about how dropping litter can injure them. Hedgehogs can get really hurt or even killed if you drop litter because they think it’s play stuff and they get tangled up. People who look after hedgehogs can help them, but if you stop dropping litter, you can help them too.

Goats milk helps to heal the injured part of the hedgehog, but be warned, hedgehogs are spikey. Put on protective gloves, else you’ll be hurt just like the hedgehog.

Please don’t drop litter or the hedgehogs will get hurt. Do you want Ross-on-Wye to be a litter free town with no injured animals/hedgehogs?

Please take my advice.
