Humphrey was a starving, freezing cold cat and almost blind when he was rescued by a passer by and then taken in by a Ross-on-Wye animal rescue, Help for Cats.
They arranged care for his eyes, which took many weeks thanks to help from a local veterinary practice. When he had recovered he went to a foster home with a lovely lady called Pat.
Humphrey, who has appeared previously in the Ross Gazette, has now made such good progress that he is looking for his forever home. He is not a kitten anymore and welcomes a warm bed and lots of good food.
Humphrey would love his own garden to play in and lie in the sun as well as his own people to love.
Dr A Matheson of the charity Help For Cats told the Ross Gazette: “This affectionate, lovely little cat has clearly suffered greatly in the past. He is about six years of age. Humphrey has now had all the considerable veterinary care he so badly needed and is now healthy and happy.”
The charity would love to hear from a compassionate person who could offer Humphrey a new home. In cases of older cats, Help for Cats undertakes to fund non-routine veterinary care and assists with routine matters.
If you could give Humphrey a loving home please contact the charity on 07598 752992 or 07510 134805.
