ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS at Herefordshire Council are to investigate the origin of a significant amount of rubbish dumped at a roadside near Hom Green, less than a month after the Ross Gazette reported the dumping of a three-piece suite at the same spot.

Three large, apparently pressurised canisters and two steel and glass food cabinets, of the kind used to keep food warm in burger vans, were spotted in the verge by one of the Gazette's reporters on Sunday. It is not known when the items were dumped.
