Ross travelled to Ledbury outfit Atletico in buoyant mood, after six wins out of six in the league. Although Juniors were far from their best in the first half, they found themselves 3-0 up. Luke Gray continued his good form by supplying a killer ball to the lightening quick Andy Francis, who despite scuffing his shot managed to find the net.

After 15 minutes Juniors doubled their lead from a superb Chris Davies cross, which Will Barker met on the volley emphatically to score Ross' second.

The roving Rob Mcafee added the third at the half hour mark with a well taken right footed strike from a Luke Gray pull back. Just before the half time whistle stand in goalkeeper Sam Loftus was called into action for the first time. He needed every inch of his 6'3 body to acrobatically tip a shot from 20 yards.

The second half started in much the same way as the first half with Ross dominating possession without really threatening. Sixty minutes played and Harry Hall turned away from his marker, looked up and steered a delightful chip over the despairing goalkeepers head to make it 4-0.

The prolific Luke Gray scored Ross' fifth of the day with a typically calm finish after some neat build up play.

After playing Athletico for three games running, you would have thought that they would have learnt Ross are a massive danger from corners, but in the 82nd minute a Luke Gray head met brilliantly delivery from the evergreen Will Barker to add his side's sixth.

Ross Juniors dominated from start to finish without getting out of second gear, Atletico only ever threatened on the break away and will be glad they don't have to play Ross again as they have failed to score in 270 minutes of football.

Next week Ross travel to Hereford to take on Goldvale and will look to continue their impressive form.

The Eagle Inn Man of the Match was shared this week between Matt Davies, Joe Loftus and Luke Gray.
