The campaign to provide proper further education for disabled young people in Herefordshire was given a boost by local MP Jesse Norman when he spoke during the Second Reading of the Children and Families Bill in the House of Commons.
Memories of the time Jesse Norman donned a wig and took part in an 'X Factor' competition at Barrs Court School were also mentioned during the debate on special needs education. He referred to the time he was pressed into service at Barrs Court school complete with sunglasses and shoulder-length red wig, but said he would resist the temptation to put it on YouTube.
