Five registered pedigree ewe lambs were sold by Dave and Phyl Hale at the Ross Auction Centre recently. The ewes were sold as part of the Lleyn Sheep Society sale, in aid of The Grand Appeal Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital.
The Hales chose to sell the lambs for this cause in gratitude for the care their son received from the hospital. Daniel had surgery there at eight months old in March of last year for a rare heart condition, known as an A P window. He is now fully recovered.
The sale of the lambs raised a whopping £1415 and along with a bucket collection, they raised a total of £2019.84 on the day.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
