Richard Mayo has been setting out his priorities after sweeping to a convincing victory in the Herefordshire Council and Ross Town Council by-election last Thursday night.

Richard, who spoke to the Gazette shortly before signing his declaration of acceptance of office forms at the Ross Town Council offices on Tuesday, said:

"People have already contacted me about the church yard wall, the road works, dog mess, and the planning application at Greytree.

"I've now got to try and fulfill what I've said to people on the doorstep and I'm looking forward it.
