Dear Editor

Perhaps before we rush into inviting the big game hunters into Ross to kill the local population of feral pigeons “because of the state of some pavements”, we should ask the council to resume the street/pavement cleaning which they used to perform regularly? I notice the CEO of HC Council and two statutory chief officers collectively earn £370,000. I would have thought some funding could be found here…
