I would like to reply to Danny Webb’s letter of Wednesday, November 14th, on behalf of Ross Band. The Band was very disappointed to be unable to attend the Remembrance Parade this year but for reasons beyond our control we didn’t have enough players or a conductor.

On most occasions we are able to borrow players from other bands if needed but Remembrance is the one date in the calendar when all bands are busy.

We are always looking for more players to come forward to swell our ranks, which would make it easier to cover each part when some players are missing and we are actively searching for a permanent conductor.
